VISITOR MOORINGS
There are 112 mooring blocks in Tobermory Harbour . The grid is arranged with smaller boats inshore and larger boats off shore out to 006° 03'.60W Boats can access any mooring via the fairway or via the anchoring area.

 
Visitor Mooring Positions
There are 24 visitor moorings, south of the fairway, coloured blue and marked with the letters THA for boats up 18 metres (60ft), max 15 tons.

There are 2 visitor moorings, north of the fairway, coloured blue and marked with the letters THA for boats up to 10 meters (33ft).

There are 4 visitor moorings, south of the pontoon, marked with white floats for boats under 6 metres (20ft).

NAVIGATION OPTIONS
There are 78 local moorings south of the fairway.

A gap has been left between rows C and D to allow boats clear access from the fairway to the THA pontoon.

There are 4 local moorings north of the fairway.

Local Hazard - Mooring in a gale.
The visitor moorings provide security all year round but in exceptional gales and for crew comfort skippers could move and anchor. In northerly gales to the Doirlinn between Calve Island and Mull or in southerly gales to the small bay between Aros Pier and the mussel farm.
